- Zero-Power Lock Body: The MS818 is a “passive” lock. It draws all necessary power from the Vanma Smart Key at the moment of contact. This eliminates the maintenance burden of replacing batteries in hundreds of remote cabinets.
- Narrow-Profile Swing Design: The MS818 features a refined, slimline handle mechanism that provides a high-leverage grip for opening large cabinet doors while maintaining a small footprint on the door face.
- Unrivaled Auditability: Every opening (and attempted opening) is logged with a precise timestamp and the unique ID of the user’s key. This “who, when, and where” data is essential for maintaining security in unmanned stations.
- One Key Ecosystem: Field technicians no longer need to carry heavy key rings. A single smart key can be programmed to open the MS818 swing handle, along with any other Vanma padlocks or door cylinders in the network.
- Dynamic Access Control: Using the Vanma Management Software, you can set “windows of access.” For example, a technician’s key can be programmed to work only on specific cabinets during their scheduled shift.
- Instant Blacklisting: If a key is lost, it can be immediately disabled within the software. Once the system is updated, the lost key will be unable to engage the handle mechanism.
